San Angelo ISD says the district continued its upward trajectory in academic performance, gaining three points, according to the 2025-2026 A-F accountability data from the Texas Education Agency scheduled to be released later this week.

A possible $40 million indoor multi-sport complex is being proposed for San Angelo, along with some major renovations at the coliseum.
According to a news release from the district, the contract was awarded to Lee Lewis Construction, and the project currently is running $5 million under SAISD’s Bond 2025 Program budget.
