Local residents will be able to share their ideas for a River Parks Master Plan early next month.
A public meeting concerning the River Parks Plan is set for 5:50-7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, in the North Meeting Room of the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive.
This meeting presents a valuable opportunity for residents to engage with city planners and share their insights. Participants are encouraged to discuss their visions and ideas for the future development of the park areas along the Concho River.
City leaders say input from the community is vital to create a master plan that meets the needs and desires of the public, enhances recreational spaces, and fosters a vibrant environment for both residents and visitors. The publics contributions can help shape the future of our river parks, making them more accessible, enjoyable, and environmentally sustainable.
City planners want to include a variety of residents in a discussion about our parks’ future. They invite everyone to share their ideas and work together to create a bright future for the Concho River park areas.
