After more than a hundred years in business in Robert Lee, the Ivey Motors Ford dealership is planning to close at the end of May. In a social media post on Wednesday, dealership officials say new upgrade requirements from the Ford Motor Company have made it unfeasible to continue operating. A 48-year-old San Angelo area woman was killed in a vehicle accident on Wednesday morning while she was stopped behind a school bus at a railroad crossing in Northeast San Angelo. A 21-year-old Brady resident was also injured. According to DPS, the accident occurred around 7:23 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 277 and Old Ballinger Highway, which is a designated railroad crossing. A preliminary investigation shows that a school bus was stopped at the railroad crossing as required by law.
