The San Angelo Police Department will welcome three new officers during a swearing-in and promotion ceremony next Wednesday in the East Mezzanine of City Hall.
According to the department, two police cadets who experienced a slight delay will be sworn in, along with a lateral officer who is a TCOLE-certified, experienced law enforcement officer transferring from another agency.
Also, along with the new cadets, Officer Steven Martinez will be promoted to the rank of sergeant.
This ceremony not only highlights the police department’s growth but also emphasizes its commitment to serving and protecting the San Angelo community.
The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. April 15.
