If you want to vote and make your voice heard in the General Election on November 3, you need to register by Monday, October 5.
Election officials say that getting your voter registration sorted out or double-checking your current status is the best way to ensure a hassle-free voting experience this fall and now is the time to act.
To register to vote, you need to be at least 18 years old on Election Day, a U.S. citizen, and live in the county where you’re registering.
Texans can visit VoteTexas.gov to find a voter registration application, check their registration status, or update their details. If you are mailing your voter registration application, it must be postmarked by the registration deadline.
Early voting for the November General Election begins October 19 and runs through October 30, with Election Day on November 3.
