OBITUARY

Gary Gaylor, a beloved resident of San Angelo, passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on March 20, 1965, Gary lived a life marked by inspiration, faithfulness, and generosity. He was a gentle and loyal soul, known for his selflessness, thoughtfulness, and wisdom.

In his early life, Gary obtained a license as an HVAC Technician and was also a Journeyman Electrician. Throughout his career, he worked mostly as a maintenance man. Upon retirement, he found joy in fishing and spending quality time with his family.

Gary was a devoted husband to Sharlotte Gaylor and a loving father to his children, Cory Gaylor, Melissa Gaylor, and Gary David Gaylor. He was also a cherished grandfather to Nathan Gaylor and Mercy-Faith Gaylor. His family was the center of his world, and he was dedicated to ensuring they had everything they needed.

An active member of his community, Gary served as an usher at Word of Life church. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his deep faith, and his readiness to help anyone in need.

Gary’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the family members who supported them through this journey, to Word of Life Church for their unwavering support, and to their church family and friends who were always there.

In his own words, Gary would often say, “Don’t worry, I know God’s got me.” His kind nature and the ability to bring a smile to everyone’s face will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
