The Veterans Administration wants to let local military veterans know about all the services available to them, so the local office is inviting veterans to a special in-person outreach event to learn more. The event on Saturday will be focused on honoring and supporting local Veterans by providing them with valuable information and resources.
Attending veterans will enjoy a themed car show at Sunset Mall commemorating Patriots Day and hosted by the local American Legion. Veterans will be able to connect with local resources, get help with the VA benefits earned, find out what resources veterans qualify for, and check out the various VA health care options.
The West Texas VA Health Care System will be participating in the American Legion’s Patriot Day Car Show by hosting an outreach table.
The outreach event will run from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m. at Sunset Mall on Saturday Sept. 12.
