Emergency responders from the City of San Angelo and Goodfellow Air Force Base will be taking part in a training exercise on April 30.
The base’s Public Affairs Office announced anyone in the GAFB area might hear sirens and announcements from the “Giant Voice,” the loudspeaker used for safety updates. The sounds are part of the training.
Motorists should also be prepared for possible delays at the base’s gates during the exercise.
For any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Goodfellow Public Affairs at 17trw.pa2@us.af.mil.
