A free day for families is coming up on Saturday, Feb 21, at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts. The Family Day Adventure presents “Forensics February,” featuring educational art and science experiences for all ages from 10 AM to 2 PM in the Education Studio, located in the breezeway at 1 Love Street.

They invite family and friends for a day of hands-on STEAM activities, including a fingerprint art lab, shoeprint evidence, SAMFA detective, and 3D model building.

The Concho Clay Studio at the Museum will offer a free clay class for kids, where they will create ceramic lovebirds! This free workshop will be for kids ages 7 to 17 at 10 AM and 12 PM, and prior registration is required.
Parents can register their children for these free workshops at www.samfa.org/workshops

A free children’s book giveaway will be held outside the Scripps-Howard Library and the Bob and Doris Johnston Foundation Reading Room on the second floor, with books generously provided by the San Angelo Adult Literacy Council and anonymous donors.

Free Family Day is open to the public at no cost. Light refreshments will be available while supplies last.
