San Angelo Health Foundation has announced the recipients of their 3rd quarter grants. Carlos Rodriguez, grants chair, announces third quarter grant recipients totaling $1,611,169 to nine organizations to support health, public safety, and youth initiatives across the region.
Joshua 1:2 was awarded $66,950 to purchase passenger vans for their program
Junction Community After School Program & Family Center was awarded $29,000 to add an outdoor classroom
Lake Ivie Volunteer Fire Department was awarded $11,658 for the Safe Haven project
Looping Us Together was awarded $23,975 to install freestanding murals along MLK Drive
Lowake Community Center was awarded $36,300 to replace the flooring at the center
San Angelo Area Foundation was awarded $1,000,000 for the Concho River Legacy Trail project
Tom Green County Library was awarded $243,286 to expand outreach and update equipment in the STEAM Central Makerspace
West Texas Rehabilitation Center was awarded $150,000 to purchase replacement vehicles for Hospice of San Angelo
YMCA San Angelo was awarded $50,000 toward a multipurpose facility at the Little Explorer’s Preschool & Child Development Center
Steve Cecil, Board Chair, stated with the above grants that the Foundation has now awarded over $74.5 million to 258 organizations for 1029 worthy projects.
