It will be a cowboy Thursday evening on April 2, as a special rodeo themed shopping event takes place in downtown San Angelo from 5 to 8 p.m., called “Saddle Up Downtown.”
Hosted by Downtown San Angelo Inc., this free event is the ticket to supporting local businesses while enjoying rodeo-themed specials, delicious refreshments, engaging activities, and memorable in-store experiences.
Participants will check in using QR codes at each stop to enter prize drawings, with extra opportunities to win by spending $10 or more or visiting every location.
One grand prize winner will receive four Tejano Rodeo tickets, sponsored by Republic Services.
A downtown trolley will run continuously from the Museum of Fine Arts to various destinations.
Participating businesses include Good Movement Pilates, Fuentes Cafe Downtown, Hippie Hysteria, Fat Boss’s Pub, Vida-Tipsy Pink, Casa Decor, Cowboy-Up Chocolates, Luxe Seventy Six Boutique, English Newsom Cellars, and Alibi Speakeasy / Stag Social.
Attendees are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the event by wearing their finest western attire, putting on their boots, and enjoying a festive night out on the town.
