San Angelo’s end-of-summer event returns next month as River Fest 2026 opens Saturday, Sept. 19, along the banks of the Concho River downtown.
This year’s event is expected to be larger and more exciting than ever, featuring all-day activities for the whole family, including food and craft vendors, Family Day at the Museum of Fine Arts, youth recreation football, washer pitching, live music, and more.
The Shannon Kids Zone will have plenty of kids’ activities, including a Petting Zoo, Pony and Horse rides, Inflatables, and a splash bash.
Other activities include the Riverfest Classic baseball tournament, a car show and 3-on-3 basketball tournament, a pickleball tournament and a skateboarding competition.
Live entertainment and music at the Bill Aylor Sr. Memorial RiverStage will round out the day.
