Two suspects in separate incidents were arrested for violent offenses this week, according to a news bulletin from the San Angelo Police Department on Friday afternoon.

According to police, on Thursday, a Narcotics detective responded to reports of active threats involving a firearm at a residence.

Officers entered the residence and encountered Isaiah Ramirez, 20, who officers said was armed and threatening two individuals.

Ramirez was taken into custody without further incident and charged with Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit a Felony.

In a separate case on Friday, officers were called to the 1500 block of S. Chadbourne in reference to an elderly victim with multiple stab wounds.

The victim was transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment.

Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, Silvester N. Reyes, 44, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Both investigations are ongoing, police said.
