City to Host Microchipping Event

The City of San Angelo Animal Services Department will hold a free microchipping event with pet tags, collars, giveaways & more from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, June 11, at 1500 N. Chadbourne St.

The annual competition is a two-phase business plan competition open to anyone who wants to develop a new business or expand an existing business in San Angelo with grant prizes totaling $100,000.

Take the chance to grow your business, contribute to San Angelo’s economic development, and potentially receive a cash grant to help fund your dreams.

CVT Route Changes Announced

Concho Valley Transit announced route updates this week, which will include a new stop at La Esperanza Clinic on Buick Street, more access to ASU and several new stops for easier school, shopping and residential access on Routes 5 and 7.

Route 5
Monday–Friday 6:30 a.m. through 7:30 p.m.
Saturday 7:30 a.m. through 6:30 p.m.

Route 7
Monday–Friday 7 a.m. through 7 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m. through 6 p.m.
