The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts is inviting the public to the latest installments of their monthly speaker series programs, “Art for Lunch” and “Sips with Seth,” hosted by Executive Director Seth Hopkins.
The Aug. 6 program will feature artists with pieces featured in SAMFA’s currently running exhibition, Discovering Global Treasures in Concho Valley Collections.
Joan Mertz, René Alvarado, Dr. Steve Boster and Raul Ruiz will discuss their artwork in the show and the future of art in the Concho Valley community.
“Art for Lunch” takes place from noon to 1 p.m. and “Sips with Seth” is slated for 5:30-7 p.m. Both are free and open to the public.
Guests attending Art for Lunch are encouraged to bring their own noon meal.
A cash donation bar will be available during Sips with Seth, and the museum galleries will be open following both programs.
