The San Angelo Fire Department is hoping to turn up the dial on fire safety as the Fire Marshal’s Office hosts a town hall meeting from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, in the East Mezzanine of City Hall, 72 W. College Ave., for what they hope will be a lively interactive discussion about ways to increase fire awareness.
Attendees are being encouraged to fill out a quick survey at “sanangelo.gov/FireSurvey” in advance, which aims at getting more people involved in spotting fire risks around San Angelo.
According to city officials, the feedback they receive will help shape a Community Risk Reduction Plan highlighting local fire safety concerns and the steps the Fire Marshal’s Office will take to tackle those risks.
