Deadline for Voter Registration is April 3

With less than 40 days remaining until municipal and school district voting it’s time to look at key dates for the upcoming elections.

April 3 is the deadline for registering to vote. Voter registration can be done in person at the Tom Green Co. Elections Office, 113 W. Beauregard Ave., or by mail. Registrations by mail must be postmarked by the April 3 deadline.

The first day of early voting is Tuesday, April 22, and ballots can be cast at the Elections Office through Tuesday, April 29.

Hours for early voting are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Qualifying voters may apply for a mail-in ballot through April 22, but requests sent in by mail must be RECEIVED in the Elections Office by the deadline date, regardless of the postmark date.
