A Western Art Show, a gallery walkthrough, and a skit by the Concho Cowboy Company marked the annual San Angelo area celebration of National Cowboy Day. The activities were held at the renowned Fort Concho National Historic Landmark in east San Angelo.

Laura Huckaby, San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts curator, led a walkthrough of the exhibit, which featured 70 professional paintings and sculptures from the collection of the American Plains Artists, showcasing a wide range of western themes, including cowboys.
During the event, visitors were also treated to a skit performed by the renowned Concho Cowboy Company, celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. They performed one of their popular comic skits outside the Quartermaster building on the Fort’s grounds.
