OUR NEIGHBORS
The City of San Angelo has announced it’s launching the San Angelo Community Plan, a community-driven effort to create a shared vision for the city’s future. The plan combines community priorities for growth, transportation, parks, economic opportunities, infrastructure, and quality of life into a clear framework for the future.
City leaders say community input will play a central role in shaping recommendations and priorities throughout the planning process and work toward ensuring these important topics are planned together as part of a shared vision for San Angelo’s future.
Residents will have several opportunities to share ideas and stay involved, including:
• Visiting the project website for updates and information
• Signing up for project announcements
• Completing the community survey
• Attending community events and public meetings
• Participating in a Virtual Open House
• Following the project through social media and text updates
Everyone is invited to a Community Launch Party on Thursday, October 29, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Fort Concho National Historic Landmark
630 S Oakes St. for an evening of family-friendly activities, interactive displays, and community conversations about San Angelo’s future. Meet the project team, learn about the planning process, and share your ideas.
