Goodfellow Air Force Base families will be treated to tasty meal May 30, as the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee hosts the first-ever Goodfellow Appreciation BBQ in the First Financial Pavilion from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will feature a BBQ competition, highlighting local restaurants and cooking teams as they showcase their favorite foods.
Families can enjoy a fun kids’ zone, complete with a bounce house and various games, and in the afternoon, there will also be live music, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.
The event is sponsored by 1st Community Credit Union, AEP Texas, the San Angelo Area Foundation, and Shannon Medical Center.
First Financial Pavillion is located at the San Angelo Fairgrounds, 4400 Grape Creek Rd.
