Last week Justice of the Peace for Precinct 4 Eddie Howard tendered his resignation to the Tom Green County Commissioners Court. Howard was first elected Justice of the Peace in 1994 and took office January 1, 1995. He has served in that office continuously for thirty years, and is a respected leader in the community and among Justices of the Peace across Texas. The Tom Green County Commissioners Court will appoint a replacement to complete the remainder of his unexpired term through 2026 on January 7, 2025.
