Music and love are in the air this month as the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts’ Chamber Music Series continues the day after Valentines with “A Valentine Tango by Tango Llaneros” from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15.
The event offers a romantic afternoon of Argentine tango music inspired by Valentine’s Day, featuring the enchanting sounds of the bandoneon and strings.
To spread the tango music scene in the United States, the Tango Llaneros group believes it’s crucial to start educational programs in schools, allowing students to learn about tango music and its potential.
General admission is $15, with seniors and military at $8 and free to students; tickets can be purchased online and in the SAMFA Gift Shop.
