City of San Angelo offices will delay opening until 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, due to icy conditions on roadways, overpasses and bridges, while San Angelo Independent School District officials decided to cancel classes altogether.
City directors and essential employees were instructed to report to work by 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Essential services, including public safety and emergency response, will continue to operate without interruption.
Residents who must travel are urged to drive slowly, allow extra stopping distance, and use caution on bridges and overpasses, which tend to freeze first.
City employees with questions about reporting to work Tuesday should contact their direct supervisor.
