San Angelo’s downtown is bracing for a large influx of community spirit and local flavor as Spring Fest takes over Twohig Avenue on Saturday, April 25.
The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., promises a street-wide celebration designed to showcase the best of the Concho Valley, as organizers turn the corridor into a vibrant marketplace featuring a diverse array of local vendors and artisans offering handmade goods and unique items that aren’t available in traditional retail stores.
Beyond the shopping, organizers say Spring Fest is leaning heavily into the “festival” atmosphere, and attendees can expect:
- A Foodie’s Paradise, with a lineup of local food trucks serving everything from savory meals to sweet treats
- Refreshments, including dedicated alcohol vendors on-site for those looking to wet their whistle
- An atmosphere of live music and “good vibes” will provide the soundtrack for the five-hour event
The festival is free and open to the public, and aims to boost San Angelo’s historic downtown district and provide a platform for small businesses in the Concho Valley.
The event was organized by Happy’s Salsa & Events.
