The San Angelo Rodeo has always been a favorite for rodeo enthusiasts, but this year, the excitement reached new heights. On Monday, March 3, at 10:00 a.m., the rush to secure tickets began. Fans flooded the online ticketing website, eager to get their hands on one of the coveted 3,000 seats in the arena. Within just 30 minutes, all the tickets were snapped up, and the event was officially sold out!

Beware Of Forged Tickets Being Sold By Scammers

But with this kind of demand, there’s a darker side to the excitement. Scammers are out in full force trying to take advantage of eager fans. As soon as the rodeo tickets disappeared, fake tickets began appearing for sale on platforms like Facebook Marketplace. Unfortunately, these tickets are not legitimate, and scammers are hoping to profit from the high demand.

If you’re hoping to buy tickets to the rodeo through a third party, it’s crucial to be cautious. Here are a few tips to ensure you’re not getting scammed:

1. Buy from a reputable source: Stick to trusted, well-known sellers or official resale platforms. If the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.

2. Check for authenticity: If purchasing physical tickets, look for signs that indicate authenticity, such as watermarks or holograms that can be verified.

3. Be cautious of sellers who demand unusual payment methods: Scammers may ask for payments through non-secure means, like gift cards or wire transfers. Always use secure payment methods.

4. Verify with the event organizers: If you have any doubts about the ticket’s validity, contact the San Angelo Rodeo organizers directly.

Tejano Day Extravaganza Tickets Still Available

While the rodeo may be sold out, not all hope is lost for those still wanting to experience some incredible live performances. The Tejano Day Extravaganza is still offering tickets for sale. Taking place on March 20, 2025, Tejano Day is one of the most anticipated events of the rodeo. Produced by Charro Jerry Diaz, this lively celebration of Tejano culture is sure to bring high energy and excitement to the San Angelo Rodeo grounds.

The Tejano Extravaganza kicks off at 2 p.m., followed by live music at the Beer Barn. Jerry Diaz, known for his Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza, has brought his show to many major events across the country, including the Denver National Western Stock Show, San Antonio Stock Show, Fort Worth Stock Show, Houston Stock Show, and the American Royal in Kansas City. This year’s performance promises to be just as spectacular, filled with pageantry, excitement, and, of course, fantastic live entertainment.
