According to local sources, technical difficulties on Monday have temporarily halted Amazon.com deliveries in San Angelo and the surrounding area.

The Concho Observer is waiting for further clarification.

Initial reports suggest a problem with the wi-fi service at the Amazon facility in town were responsible for the trouble, which has been resolved, but no deliveries were listed as “out for delivery” so far today.

According to national reports, Amazon’s cloud computing services were hit by an outage, which Downdetector.com said resulting in more than 1 million reports from the United States in the first two hours.
