Election Day for the Texas Primary Runoff is Tuesday, May 26, but the last day to register to vote is Monday, April. 27.
Registrations received after the deadline will not take effect in time for the May elections.
Early voting will take place from Monday, May 18, to Friday, May 22.
State election officials advise that if you plan to vote in person, you should have a clear voting plan.
This includes identifying your Election Day polling location or the nearest early voting site, determining how you will get there, and familiarizing yourself with the candidates who will be on your ballot.
For Tom Green County voters, a registration application must be submitted to the Elections Office at 113 W. Beauregard Ave., located on the first floor of the Keyes Building. Applications may be delivered in person, mailed, or delivered by a deputy voter registrar.
Your voter registration becomes effective 30 days after it is received by their office.
There is no registration by political party in Texas.
