OBITUARY

Nola Lowrance Duckworth-Brevard, age 93, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025.

She was born on February 7, 1932, in Robert Lee, Texas, and lived a long, full life marked by love, resilience, and deep devotion to her family where she worked with GTE and loved sewing, gardening, and dancing.

On December 18, 1952, Nola married L.N. Duckworth, Jr., with whom she shared 40 years of marriage before his passing on October 14, 1992.

Together, they had one daughter, Brenda Duckworth Shelley, who also preceded her in death. Later, Nola married Lawton Brevard, who also preceded her in death.

The family would like to thank Lyndale for the care and love that they showed Nola, the caregivers with Accent Care, High Plains Hospice, and Home Preferred.

A small memorial will follow at a later date.
