OBITUARY

Jesus “Jesse” Ynojosa, 75, of San Angelo passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025.

Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Ynojosa was born on May 5, 1950 in San Angelo to Tilo and Martha Jimenez Ynojosa. He graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1967. Jesse was a welder before joining the City of San Angelo Street and Bridge Department.

He retired after 28 years of service but decided he wanted to keep working and joined the Tom Green County Road and Bridge Department. He retired from them after 11 years of service. Jesse enjoyed welding, watching college football, wrestling and hanging out with his grandchildren. He was a strong man and was an example of love to his children.

Jesse is survived by his four sons, Joe Ynojosa and wife April, Mike Hernandez and wife Elisa, Nick Hernandez and wife Lorraine, and James Hernandez all of San Angelo; three siblings, Frank Ynojosa of Big Lake, Johnny Ynojosa of Amarillo, and Elena Sanchez and husband Sammy of Grape Creek; and two grandchildren, Jesse J. Ynojosa and Jocelyn O. Ynojosa both of San Angelo.

There are no services scheduled at this time.
