CITY OF SAN ANGELO

A pair of items of particular interest are on the agenda of the next San Angelo City Council meeting, set for Tuesday, Feb. 3, which will be followed by an Executive Session consultation regarding the Skybox Data Center.

The council will consider drafting a resolution of support for more affordable housing projects in the city, as part of the 2026 annual Low Income Housing Tax Credit program for Crestwood Terrace Apartments, located at 3130 W. Beauregard Ave.

Neighborhood and Family Services Director Angela Bloss and Development Consultant Michael Beard will present the item.

The Council will also consider applying for a $2.5 million Federal Aviation Administration grant to aid in the design of a new control tower at the airport, presented by Airport Director Justin Fletcher.

Jeff Chandler Law

Following the regular agenda, the council will meet in Executive Session under Section 551.071(2)

“Consultation with an attorney when a governmental body seeks the advice of its attorney on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with this chapter, regarding the Skybox Datacenters contract.”

Public comments take place early in the meeting and may address issues or concerns not included on the agenda.

Commenters are asked to sign in with the City Clerk before the meeting begins. Speakers will be called in the order they signed in and given three minutes to speak.

The meeting begins at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 3, in the South Meeting Room of McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive.
