According to an announcement from officials, City of San Angelo offices will be closed on Friday, April 3, in observance of Good Friday. However, trash service and landfill operations will continue as usual.
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) offices will be closed on Thursday, April 2, and will reopen on Monday, April 6.
Fort Concho’s Visitor Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Good Friday and Saturday, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Easter Sunday. Self-guided tours will be available throughout the weekend. Fort Concho is located at 630 S. Oakes St.
Closed on Friday, April 3 will be:
- Animal Shelter
- City Hall and the Community Development Building
- City Hall Annex (including water billing)
- Fairmount Cemetery business offices
- Health Department
- Municipal Court
- Parks and Recreation offices
- Southside and Carl Ray Johnson Recreation Centers
- Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing Senior Centers
