Reese Albert will continue their makeover of the Chadbourne Street drag on Monday, Jan. 5, COSA Operations reports.

This is Phase ‘B” in the Chadbourne Reconstruction project. Phase ‘A’ can currently been seen along the road from Concho to Beauregard Ave.

Now it moves north, and will continue until Chadbourne reaches Loop 306. The renovations should be complete by May.

Phase ‘B’ will continue the design and style established during Phase ‘A’, with full reconstruction of the roadway, sidewalks and pedestrian infrastructure. Additional improvements include decorative lamp posts, benches, bicycle racks and trash receptacles. Intersections and crosswalks will be rebuilt to improve safety and accessibility.

Construction will move forward one section at a time to limit disruptions, and access to businesses will be maintained throughout the project. The first section will run from Beauregard to College Ave., with Harris Ave. occasionally closed during this time.
