The 3rd Annual San Angelo READS! and United We Read back-to-school pop-up event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 31, at the First Financial Pavilion.

This free and family-friendly event aims to help local students start the upcoming school year confidently, providing families with free food, school supplies, backpacks, games, and vital community resources.

Local businesses, churches, civic organizations, and nonprofits are invited to join as community partners by donating school supplies, hosting interactive booths, providing free educational resources, or bringing specialty vehicles for exploration.

Jeff Chandler Law

The yearly pop-up has turned into a big back-to-school event in the Concho Valley, attracting more than 1,200 people and almost 95 community partners last year. The organizers are looking to step it up this year and make an even bigger impact.

Interested organizations can register online at https://bit.ly/4dNY0XW, Early registration is strongly encouraged to help with event coordination.
