Downtown Soul: Aaron Stephens presents his soul and blues stylings Thursday night at Fifi’s. The Chicago born musician grew up in McAllen, TX. Performing around the state in small bars and on the stage at Austin City Limits music festival. His three albums, and four singles are all available on Spotify. Garden Unplugged: The Garden Lounge opens this week after taking a short summer break, featuring a special unplugged performance from ShineOla. You might be used to listening to them in a dive bar downtown. Give them a try under the cozy canopies over on Park Street.
Back at Blaine’s: After a midsummer dry spell, live music returns to Blaine’s on Friday with Bottomland. Described as “Texas country colliding early 2000s pop-punk”. Make sure to grab a seat early.
Musical Crossroads at SAPAC: Special show featuring twelve local artists is a must see for local scene watchers. The artists will perform over three settings at Gillis Street: the Black Box, Brooks and Bates, and a lobby welcome show. Rock, blues, country, tenant, folk, alternative and more is on the menu.
