According to the Greater Santa Rita Homeowners Association Facebook page, a meeting will be held on Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. in the Santa Rita Elementary Cafeteria to hear from an AEP representative regarding their new policy on tree trimming.

According to the flyer: “AEP has changed its policy for tree trimming near its electric lines. What has been customary for years will now be a more aggressive total tree/shrub REMOVAL or aggressive cutback. Come to voice your opinion!”

Lyndon Roberts-Galindo wrote in the comments for the last meeting in October:

“They will be updating everyone on the town hall meeting scheduled in the next couple weeks at Santa Rita in the cafeteria. I would encourage all neighbors to attend if possible…there were several of us there and we were timed there will be a town hall meeting scheduled in the Santa Rita Cafeteria in the next couple weeks. I encourage everyone concerned in the neighborhood to attend.”
