A San Angelo-based investment company, JB Vincent LP, announced earlier this month that it purchased the assets of a Chicago-based pinball machine manufacturer.
American Pinball Inc. announced the move Jan. 15 and said the acquisition marks a significant new chapter for the company and positions it for renewed growth, expanded innovation, and a strengthened commitment to delivering licensed titles paired with high-quality manufacturing.
“This investment is about the future,” said J. Bryan Vincent, Managing Partner of JB Vincent LP. “I’m a pinball enthusiast, so this investment is personally exciting for me. We are hitting the ground quickly and are already in the process of securing valuable licensing agreements for upcoming games.”
J. Bryan Vincent is a seasoned investor with a track record in brand imaging, product development, innovation, and scaling high-quality manufacturing operations. He co-founded Principal LED in San Angelo in 2010 and grew it into one of the top three LED suppliers in the sign industry. He was the San Antonio District U.S. Small Business Administration’s “Small Business Person of the Year” for 2017.
American Pinball has released six pinball machines since 2017. The company also launched an arcade offshoot called Orbit Games. They have also announced job openings as they prepare for manufacturing expansion in the Chicago area.
