The Fine Arts Museum invites all to their Chemistry December Free Family Day on December 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Education Studio located in the breezeway at 1 Love Street.
Chemistry December features educational art and science experiences for all ages: bring your family and friends for 3D STEAM model building, create a gingerbread house, and be a mad scientist with a beaker experiment. Be sure to visit the Concho Clay Studio for clay activities. Meet the animals at the petting zoo, and visit Santa and Mrs. Claus and their elves!
A free children’s book giveaway will be presented outside of the Scripps-Howard Library & Bob and Doris Johnston Foundation Reading Room on the 2nd floor with books generously provided by the San Angelo Adult Literacy Council and anonymous donors.
Free Family Day includes free admission to the galleries. Light refreshments will be available while supplies last.
