How often do you see horses on the streets of San Angelo?
Most will say at least once a year during the Rodeo Parade, and it’s coming soon, as thousands of enthusiastic parade fans will line the streets downtown on April 4 for the annual San Angelo Rodeo Parade.
Riding clubs, antique tractors, cars, and wagons, along with marching bands and floats, are the main attractions at one of San Angelo’s largest parades each year.

Veteran parade watchers take note: the parade that officially kicks off the 2026 San Angelo rodeo will carve a new route due to ongoing downtown construction.
The parade is set to start at the intersection of West Concho Avenue and South Irving Street, make a modified rectangle around several blocks, and conclude past the intersection of West Concho Avenue and South Randolph.
Regardless of the weather, the parade will be held in historic downtown San Angelo at 10 a.m. The parade is also televised on KLST-TV and KSAN-TV.
