OBITUARY

Ricky Lynn Rickard, 69, passed away on December 3, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on May 24, 1956, in San Angelo, to Linda Ann Chapman and Ralph Frank Rickard.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, Ricky carried a deep and abiding love for his country throughout his life. He was an avid outdoorsman who found peace in hunting, fishing, and exploring the beauty of the United States. He cherished time spent in the company of friends and family, where his humor, loyalty, and generous spirit always shined.

Ricky will be remembered for his steadfast commitment to helping veterans in need. He never turned away a fellow service member and lived his life with a determination to support those who served beside him.

Ricky is survived by his five children: Natasha Rickard of Shreveport, LA; Timothy Rickard of Chandler, TX; Tabitha Rickard and Trisha Ann Marsh of Overton, TX; and Ashley Elizabeth Wilson of Whitehouse, TX. He was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a veteran charity of your choosing in Ricky’s honor.
