In his personal life, Mark shared a loving partnership with Nicole Mendez and was the proud father of his son, Mark Ryan Garcia Jr., affectionately known as “MJ.” He is survived by his parents, Marcus and Gracie Garcia, and his siblings, Anthony Garcia and wife Ada, Brittany Garcia, Jessie Garcia and partner Cheyenne Simmons, and Alizandra Garcia. His Grandparents, Margaret Lopez, San Juanita Garcia, and Gerarrdo Lopez Sr.. His in-laws, Hugo Mendez and Nancy Lopez. Mark’s interests were as diverse as his personality. He was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Luka Doncic; enjoyed attending music festivals and concerts, and had a passion for movies, particularly Marvel films.

In the words of John 11:25, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, even if he dies, shall live and, whoever lives and believes in me, shall never die.” And as Mark would say, “How about dem Cowboys.”

“It’s OK, rest easy baby. Dad and Momma gotcha from here, always mommy’s Shaka Pana Tana.”
