OBITUARY

Marilyn Russell, age 90, entered into rest on December 20, 2025, in San Angelo, Texas.

Marilyn was born on June 24, 1935, in Wichita Falls, Texas, and devoted her life to her family and her calling as an educator. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, loving heart, and the genuine care she showed to everyone around her.

She graduated from Tarleton State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Angelo State University. Marilyn dedicated her career to teaching and served as a teacher at Crockett Elementary School, where she touched the lives of countless students and families.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Russell; her brother, Thomas Morgan, and his wife, Barbara; and her parents, Tommy Morgan and Ludell Morgan.

Marilyn is survived by her sons, Jay Russell and his wife, Lisa, and Jeff Russell; her cherished grandchildren, Steffani Jacoby, Heather Wilson, Erin Wilkins, Justin Russell, Ashley Gillham, and Morgan Gilha; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will continue to honor her memory.

Marilyn’s legacy lives on through the love of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
