The Law Offices of Rick DeHoyos are spreading some holiday cheer in San Angelo with a special gift project for children. This season, they will select 20 children – 10 boys and 10 girls – for a “special Christmas surprise,” according to a recent social media post.

“If you know of a child(ren) who could use a little extra joy this Christmas, please send us a direct message to submit an entry with contact information,” the post reads.

Entries are limited to one per child. For families with multiple children, they ask that only one entry be submitted, including the family’s last name and the gender of the children. If a nomination is chosen, the office will contact the person who submitted it to gather the child’s gift wish list and other needs they might have.

Entries are due by noon; Thursday, December 11. To make the surprise even more magical, gifts will be delivered by their very own Santa Claus.

This project is an example of how community support can keep the holiday spirit alive.
