OBITUARY

Lincy E. Corp, 91, of San Angelo passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025. Lincy was born in Barksdale, Texas, on April 21, 1934, to Harry and Hallie Clarke. Along with sisters June and Dixie and brother Richard, she enjoyed the opportunity to live in several places throughout the state including Corpus Christi, Alpine and El Paso. She married James D. Corp in El Paso on December 4, 1954, and together they raised three children, Gene, Justin and Cynthia.

Lincy was known for her love of art, gardening, and joy of family. She often referred to her grandchildren as the “magnificent 7” and moved to San Angelo to be centrally located to all her children and grandchildren. Throughout the years she managed to attend as many ball games, dance recitals and awards events as she could and eventually attended all the weddings and baby showers to welcome five great grandchildren.

Lincy is survived by two of her children, Justin (Winona) Corp and Cynthia Wilson, and brother Richard Clarke, grandchildren, Katie Wilson, David (Abigail) Corp, James Corp, Clay (Stephanie) Wilson, Kendrick Corp, Ashley (Bryce) Jones and Chaise (Luke) Corp and great grandchildren Lauren, Cassidy, Olivia, Macy and Zoey. She was preceded in death by husband, James, son, Gene, sisters, June Haynie and Dixie Bostick, and parents, Harry and Hallie.

A graveside service will be held on January 2, 2026, at 2pm at Elm Grove Cemetery in Alpine, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Gentiva Hospice San Angelo.
