Foster Communications’ now iconic event concluded another successful chapter on Saturday with the annual KIXY Cares for Kids Radiothon.

Now in its 24th year, this three-day fundraiser aired on KIXY-FM and supported the Children’s Miracle Network at Shannon Medical Center. The event was presented by City National Bank.

Over the course of three days, the DJs and staff of KIXY, along with personnel from Shannon Medical Center, Miracle patient families, and volunteers, successfully raised $128,692 to support the treatment of children facing serious health conditions at Shannon.

Support for the Children’s Miracle Network provides essential services, equipment, and training, ensuring that children receive treatment close to home. The funds raised remain at Shannon, directly benefiting the Pediatric Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Trauma Center, Emergency Room, and Shannon Pediatric Clinic.

The radiothon featured the theme “All Together, All for Kids” and was broadcast live from Sunset Mall.
