Joe Self Elected to San Angelo City Council

San Angelo City Council District 2 will be represented by Joe Self, who won his runoff election against Dudra Butler on Saturday.

According to information from the City of San Angelo, Mr. Self won the race with 60.53 percent of the vote (299) to Butler’s 195 votes.

The 343 voters who cast ballots during early voting had the largest impact, with Mr. Self receiving 99 more votes than his opponent, 221 to 122.

Election Day voters were more evenly split, with 78 votes cast for Self and 73 for Butler, for a grand total of 494 voters deciding the District 2 race.
