RiverFest returned to Bart DeWitt Park; it was a perfect day for it too, with temperatures in the 80s underneath the tree cover. On one end of the park, the Vega Washer-pitching tournament was in full swing, followed by live music under the Chadbourne Street bridge. The walkways were filled up with vendors, and food trucks humming away. On the other end of the park, horse rides and a full petting zoo – it’s too bad you can’t have this every weekend, so catch the rest of the day’s festivities!
