The Railway Museum of San Angelo kicks off its annual ‘Santa’s Santa Fe Christmas‘ tomorrow morning: Saturday, Dec 13, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.
Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the Grinch arrive on a great big train at the Railway Museum of San Angelo Dec. 13 at 10 a.m. and they’ll stay until 4 p.m.
It’s free to meet Santa and his friends at Santa’s Santa Fe Christmas. Use your own camera or phone to take pictures with them. You can even capture a festive pet portrait with Santa from 2 to 4 p.m., a perfect holiday keepsake.
City Manager Daniel Valenzuela and his wife Suzanna will reprise their role as Santa and Mrs. Claus.
There are tours of the historic museum, rides in a Choo Choo train, five rooms of scale model trains, live performances by talented guests, delicious eats from a variety of food trucks and unique gifts at the Christmas marketplace filled with local crafts.
There are a few things that require tickets: and for the first time, a $10 ticket allows guests to tour the 115-year-old museum with costumed guides, ride the Choo-Choo train, explore the historic engine and caboose, and make a Christmas ornament from a real model train car.
Thanks goes to sponsors HEB and Texas Pacifico!
