Due to a recent security breach involving the city’s online bill vendor, City staff have collaborated with their vendor, InvoiceCloud, to assist water customers with online bill payments.

A temporary credit card processor has been established to ensure that customers can make their water bill payments online.

The update ensures that customers can continue to make card payments online as needed. However, they are temporarily unable to accept American Express card payments through InvoiceCloud. Once the original payment processor is restored, the city will inform the public about the return to regular services.

City officials said customers with existing autopay do not need to re-enroll.

If a customer made an early payment and their autopay was unaffected, they will not be double charged.

Autopay runs based on the current balance. If the balance shows zero, no autopay will process. Customers can confirm this by checking open balances in InvoiceCloud. The affected autopay dates were for bills issued Jan. 13–16.
