The City of San Angelo has named Ryan Gaddy as its new economic development director. His duties will begin Dec. 16.

From LinkedIn.com

Gaddy has served as the City of San Angelo’s assistant finance director since 2018, leading the department’s reorganization, building high-performing teams, and overseeing budgeting, capital planning and investment management.

He also has more than two decades of corporate finance experience with Verizon, where he held executive roles in financial planning, investor relations and mergers and acquisitions. Gaddy earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Angelo State University and is a certified public accountant.

In this role, he will lead efforts to attract new businesses, support local entrepreneurs and promote sustainable growth throughout San Angelo and the surrounding region.

He will also oversee the implementation of the City’s economic development initiatives, manage incentive programs and sales tax projects, and foster partnerships that strengthen the local economy.
