A week of Oz Wizardry awaits San Angelo families Feb. 23-26, as the Recreation Department’s 2026 “Date Nights” take place.
Families will “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” for an unforgettable night, as organizers prepare a few evenings of magical fun and memories, featuring dancing, a DJ, and snacks.
Attendees are encouraged to wear “Wizard of Oz” and “Wicked” costumes.
Date night events are ideal for children aged 5 to 13, while Family Night is intended for all ages.
Father-Daughter evenings are set for Monday, Feb. 23 and Wednesday, Feb. 25, with a Mother-Son evening on Tuesday and Family Night on Thursday. Tickets are $15 per person for each event.
A catered meal will not be provided, but every child will receive a souvenir.
